Too old for home

When you come home at 2 and hear your mom say “is this a decent time?”
You’re too old for home.
When someone still adds a spoonful of rice in your plate though you chose not to eat
You're too old for home.
When you’re in a dilemma because you’ve neglected to clean the house this weekend
You’re too old for home.
When you’re twenty four… you’re undeniably too old for home.
Yet how do you explain this to parents who built this home for you?

Then maybe it's time to build your own home.

hmmm... if i can start off in an apartment where the only thing I worry about is having hot water and paying the rent, then absolutely! How do I start?

house and apartment rentals are at a low right. Shop around and you should find a good deal. Just remember location, location, location...and stay away from pot smoking/growing landlords, they're raid magnets.

I don't think it was Angelo who was proposing. Look again. (But get make sure he's proposing what he should be proposing and not what it seems he's proposing. Sorry B).

Have a heart-to-heart with the parents. Let them know that you're too old for home. Make sure they come out of the conversation knowing that you love and adore them. If that doesn't work, you can always use the, "It's not you. I'm just going through a phase."

Family may be tough, but they are the ones who pick you up after you fall down. I left a long time ago, did not finish college, now divorced with two sons to raise, but in the end, my family was there to help me....despite the distance. BUT, I had to make my own mistakes first and then I grew up. Choose wisely!
